Ellie Goulding

Ellie Goulding (born Elena Jane Goulding, 30 December 1986, in Hereford, England) is a English artist and singer. Ellie Goulding dominated the UK charts in 2010 due to the catchy electro-pop tracks "Starry Eyed" and Guns and Horses. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. With her distinctive soprano voice and knack for composing captivating, yet emotional music, Goulding, much like her predecessors Kate Bush and Imogen Heap has a place at the cutting edge of the current mainstream and artistic, non-conformist pop.Goulding quickly moved from the blogosphere to print media, gaining the attention of mainstream magazines like The Guardian and fielding offers from record companies. Polydor Records, a major music label, signed Goulding and was preparing to release Goulding's debut album. Ellie Ellie Ellie Ellie Ellie
